What are some of the best written fantasy books out there?

This is a question which most people misinterpret. I ask: What is the "best written" not the best, what I mean by that is: The Lord of the Rings was a GOOD book - It was made up of good ideas and stuff but it was not as well written as lets say Philip Pullman's books or J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter.
