In Pirates of the Caribbean 4, what does Syrena say to Philip about her protecting him?

In one of the scenes where she has legs, she says "you're different" and then they have a conversation and he ends up saying "you were protecting me" or something like that? It was like a heart-to-heart realization kind of thing...but I can't remember what was really said. Anyone?
