How to determine if a chiropractor is right for you or a quack?

Loretta, I don't really care for chiropractors at all. But in this case,I don't care what type of practitioner you are dealing with,this is one to walk away from! First he sounds unstable,second he does not have your best interest at heart. Find someone else....tomorrow.
