Cant tell if I have a deep splinter in heel or if i have heel spurs?

I have very sharp pain in my heel area I think I got it from going outside barefoot (thought intruder was outside so I ran out) also my podiatrist told me I had bad feet. The pain is very intense and I cannot put weight on it and it even hurts at a resting state too. Also there are no visible splinter wound marks. PLEASE HELP ME IM IN PAIN!
