Name that movie? Hoffman?

I'm not actually sure if it was Philip Hoffman in the movie I just remember it really looked like him. Does anyone know the title of the movie where this dad who I guess as kind of a dick is dying and his kids who (in the trailer) seem to not really like him have to take care of him cause they feel like it's there duty or something. The Philip or his look alike play the son and he stars with the actor who plays his sister(or wife)........It's been awhile since I saw the trailer
