Can you get a 'normal' ringtone for your iPhone? How? ?

The only ringtone I can get for my iPhone is the normal rubbish ones and I find it embarresing when my friends have all the cool new songs and I have a bark/quack! Is there anyway you can get a ringtone on your iPhone if so how?
